Quality Materials for Quality Framing
We use the best quality materials for our conservation framing—often the very same materials that would be used at a museum to protect their valuable pieces. Our preferred mat for conservation framing is Crescent Rag Mat, which is a 100 percent cotton mat that will never turn colors or release acids that could damage your art. We also stock a nice selection of Bainbridge “Artcare” mats which are also suitable for archival framing. For protection against UV rays and airborne contaminants, we offer either glass or plexiglass with up to 98 percent UV protection.
